I take exception to the following part of the Bill...
Section 25-4-17 (1)
Because fully enclosed is not needed. I have several in 5 and 6 foot fenced areas and the
chickens don't get out.
(2) A and B
Because getting chickens is often by getting just hatched chicks and getting 2 is not the way to
go. They easily die and if you are going to raise them start with 6, see how many make it.
Use
language to differentiate between chicks and hens.
Section 4, because recycled material works fine for small areas for chickens.
I do think the intent is for small amounts of hens to be kept in residential areas without
making their neighbors regret it is a great idea. Thank You .
