Attention Hawaii county council,
1 am writing to strongly opposed the passing of this bill.
As we all know, Hawaii relies heavily on the importation of all products, including food. The county
should be encouraging backyard henneries as a sustainable, creative way for the community to
supplement income as well as provide a consistence food source, be that in meat or eggs.
The government continually practices overreach. Please stop micromanaging every aspect of our lives,
allow locals and families to raise their own food, and to help ends meet by being allowed to sell the
excess so that others who don't have the means to raise their own food can still have the privilege of
eatingfresh, locally sources, nutritious food.
