YES to Bill 83
My name is Mattson Davis - I'm the owner of Magics Beach Grill, and a former owner of Kona Brewing Company -
I am writing to express my strong support for Bill 83, which will ban single -use plastics such as cups, forks, and straws in
Hawaii County. These items are a major source of litter and plastic pollution. They are rapidly adding to our landfill, and
threaten our precious natural resources.
They are a huge problem in our oceans and beaches- We must change, we must lead, and we must DOH
Passing Bill 83 is an important step to protect our island home for future generations. I respectfully urge you to vote YES
on Bill 83.
