Subject: Eliminate Single Use plastic in Hawai'i Pass Bill 83
Aloha,
This is my testimony to vote in favor of Bill 83 to eliminate the use of
single use plastic. One of the most important and yet forgotten topics in
the whole state of Hawaii is how to care for'aina (land).
People can support these efforts through actions such as participating in
cleanups, reducing single -use plastics, using reef -safe sunscreen, and
engaging in the political process to advocate for environmental policies.
