Aloha Chair and members of our County Council,
My apologies for this late testimony.
This is in support of Bill 83, Draft 2. Thank you for pushing forward a bill that is meaningful to the health of our land, our
waters, the beings that occupy these spaces, and us as humans.
Though it may seem a huge shift to move in the direction that this bill outlines, it is necessary that we take measures to
prevent any further contribution to.the amount of waste that Hawai'i produces. This is a step forward in many ways.
