Aloha Councilmembers,
I am writing to express my strong support for Bill 83, which will ban single -use plastics such as cups, forks, and straws in
Hawai'i County. These items are a major source of litter and plastic pollution. They are rapidly adding to our landfill, and
threaten our precious natural resources.
Passing Bill 83 is an important step to protect our island home for future generations. I respectfully urge you to vote YES
on Bill 83.
