He is a proud 1981 graduate of Kamehameha <br />Schools Kapalama. With a distinguished career spanning over 28 years as a police officer with <br />the Hawai'i Police Department, Mr. Rabara has demonstrated outstanding commitment to public <br />service and the safety of our island's residents. <br />Service is a core value in the Rabara family. Mr. Rabara follows in the footsteps of his father, <br />Alfred Rabara Sr., and his grandfather, both of whom also served as police officers. This legacy <br />of service has shaped Mr. Rabara's dedication to our island and his desire to continue serving in <br />new capacities. <br />Mr. Rabara is a husband, father and grandpa, and is an active, long-term member of Helani <br />Congregational Church, where he continues to contribute today. Mr. Rabara will bring invaluable <br />experience, integrity, and a deep understanding of public safety to the Fire Commission. <br />If confirmed, Mr. Rabara will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2030.
