Subdivision Application Filing Fee & Lot Charges
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated September 29, 1999, regarding the
subject matter.
Please be advised that effective immediately, all Department of Hawaiian Home Lands
subdivision applications shall be exempt from the filing fee and lot charges ($250 plus
$25 per lot) of Chapter 23, Subdivision Control Code.

SUBJECT: Subdivision Filing Fee
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, as a government agency,
requests exemption of filing fees for application for subdivision
of Hawaiian home lands on the island of Hawaii. The recent
increase in subdivision filing fees will be a hardship on many
lessees subdividing their homestead lease for family members.
Your consideration of this request will be greatly appreciated.
