blip. <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 452 2G <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO HUMANITY HALE <br />FOR SERVICES IN HAWAIIAN ARTS AND CULTURAL EDUCATION, ABUSE <br />PREVENTION, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN KONA. <br />WHEREAS, Humanity Hale is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to <br />provide trauma -informed, culturally rooted support to foster and at -promise youth on the Big <br />Island while building resilience, self-sufficiency, and pathways to success; and <br />WHEREAS, Humanity Hale is requesting funds for laptops, printers, mobile devices, <br />and IT peripherals, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting the <br />interests of culture and the arts, educational concerns, the needs of the poor, youth, the aged, and <br />those with physical or emotional disabilities, and victims of health or social crises; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Humanity Hale for the expenses and <br />purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk-CouncilSVC— Contingency Relief $10,000 <br />CREDITED TO <br />1010-21-25139 Department of Liquor Control $10,000 <br />Public Programs <br />530115 Misc.
