On December 17, 2025, his nomination was <br />withdrawn due to a residency error. <br />Mr. Salavea has been re -nominated for the Council District 5 seat on the Police Commission, <br />therefore, I am respectfully requesting that Mr. Salavea be waived out of Committee to be heard <br />by the full Council at its next meeting on February 4, 2026. <br />Mahalo for your cooperation and attention to this matter. <br />C.
