This is to acknowledge receipt of your annual status report for the above-referenced Ordinance
No. 97-42. Thank you for complying with Condition R, which requires the submittal of an
annual status report.
With regards to Condition C, your report states that the applicant received Final Subdivision
Approval (Sub. No. 7202 and 7202A) on January 5, 2000. In reviewing the subdivision file, said
approved subdivision involves only TMK: 7-7-08:Portion of 11 and not the subject parcels 30
and 96. Mr. Christopher Lau confirmed this per discussion with staff on May 17, 2000.
Please be informed that your next annual report will be due on or prior to March 13, 2001.

This is to provide you with the annual status report Towne Development of Hawaii, Inc.'s
(Towne) activities in compliance with the various conditions of Ordinance No. 97-42. For
your information, since the adoption of this Ordinance, Towne has transferred ownership of
the property to Towne-Kona Limited Partnership, whose general partner is a wholly owned
subsidiary of Towne Development of Hawaii, Inc. The area covered by this rezoning has been
incorporated into Towne's Keauhous View Estates Subdivision, which includes approximately
169 acres with a total of approximately 400 single family residential units.
We apologize for the delay in submitting this annual report. In that the project area has been
incorporated into the overall Keauhou View Estates Subdivision, which is covered primarily by
Ordinance 96-60, we would like to request the consolidation of the required annual reports.
The following is a summary of the conditions of Ordinance No. 97-42 and a description of
Towne's actions or understanding of them.
