Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 117, reports as follows:
Bill No. 117, transmitted by Interim Police Chief Reed K. Mahuna via Communication No. 684,
dated December 29, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget of
the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
This bill increases revenues in the Federal Grants — High Intensity Impact Grant account ($340,000)
and appropriates the same to the High Intensity Impact Grant Program account.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 117, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
