COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 464 26 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HAWAI`I FIRE DEPARTMENT TO <br />COVER COSTS FOR A NEW AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH AT THE HAIHAI <br />FIRE STATION. <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department is primarily responsible for fire protection and <br />suppression, pre -hospital emergency medical services, land and sea search and rescue, hazardous <br />materials response, ocean safety, fire prevention, and public education for the County of <br />Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department is requesting funds to help cover the costs for <br />a new automatic transfer switch (ATS) at the Haihai Fire Station, which will serve a public <br />purpose by ensuring power to the station during power outages; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Fire <br />Department to help cover the costs for a new ATS at the Haihai Fire Station. <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk-CouncilSVC— Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />$10,000 <br />1010-21-62302 Hawaii Fire Department $10,000 <br />Fire Auxiliary Services OCE <br />530110 Repairs to Facilities <br />(ATS for Haihai Fire Station) <br />
