RESOLUTION NO. 465 26
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE HAWAI°I FIRE DEPARTMENT TO
PURCHASE A TELEVISION MOUNT AND GAS GRILL FOR THE HAIHAI FIRE
STATION.
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department is primarily responsible for fire protection and
suppression, pre -hospital emergency medical services, land and sea search and rescue, hazardous
materials response, ocean safety, fire prevention, and public education for the County of
Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department is requesting funds for a television mount and
gas grill at the Haihai Fire Station, which will serve a public purpose by supporting firefighter
wellness and contributing to their operational readiness; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Hawaii Fire
Department to purchase a television mount and gas grill for the Haihai Fire Station.
