COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 46 I 26 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2026 SUMMER FUN PROGRAM AT THE <br />NA`ALEHU COMMUNITY CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2026 Summer Fun Program at <br />the Nd'dlehu Community Center, located at Na`alehu Park, provides arts -and -crafts activities and <br />recreation for elementary school students during the summer break; and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed to assist low-income families in the Kati district to ensure <br />an affordable opportunity for children to participate in the 2026 Summer Fun Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to offset the <br />out-of-pocket costs per child for registration fees, transportation, and other activities for its 2026 <br />Summer Fun Program; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for its 2026 Summer Fun Program at the Na`alehu Community Center. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $4,250 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />1010-11-10191 Clerk-CouncilSVC— Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />1010-51-50925 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Summer/Intersession Class/Activities <br />550341 Misc.
