The proposed amendments <br />are shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 468-26; material to <br />be deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. <br />1. The title is amended to read as follows: <br />"A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION <br />OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME <br />TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE EAST <br />HAWAI`I CULTURAL [CE R[COUNCIL TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES <br />RELATING TO ITS SECOND ANNUAL YOUTH ART SERIES FESTIVAL." <br />2. The first WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"WHEREAS, the East Hawaii Cultural [Geritef]Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit <br />organization whose mission is to be an inclusive platform for culture and the arts that gives voice <br />to diverse communities and provides a forum for inquiry into their experience and histories; and" <br />3. The second WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"WHEREAS, the East Hawaii Cultural [C-enlef]Council is requesting funds for <br />expenses related to its Second Annual Youth Art Series Festival for sound and stage equipment <br />rental and operational costs, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or <br />promoting the culture and the arts; now, therefore," <br />Comm, O. <br />Ref.
