Alexander to the Veterans Advisory Committee <br />Aloha Council Chair Inaba and Council Members, <br />I am honored to submit the nomination of Mr. Reginald G. Alexander to serve as a member of <br />the Veterans Advisory Committee. <br />Mr. Alexander served honorably in the United States Navy for 30 years, rising to the rank of <br />Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9). He held senior advisory roles to the Commanders of Navy <br />Region Hawai'i and Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet. His leadership ensured sailors' well- <br />being, morale, and operational success. <br />After his successful Navy career, Mr. Alexander served Hawai'i's veterans as a Senior Veterans <br />Service Representative and later as a Legal Administrative Specialist with the Department of <br />Veterans Affairs. His work on O'ahu and Hawai'i Island gives him deep insight into the unique <br />needs of local veterans. <br />Mr. Alexander is deeply rooted in our island community, with his family and grandchildren living <br />here on Hawaii Island. He brings not only professional experience but also personal dedication <br />to improving the quality of life for veterans and their families nationwide. <br />If confirmed, Mr. Alexander will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2030.
