RESOLUTION NO. 491 26
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE FANS FOR THE MAKA`EO
EVENTS PAVILION.
WHEREAS, Maka`eo Events Pavilion is used by citizens of the County of Hawaii for
recreational activities, community meetings, family celebrations, and other large events; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase
fans in order to continue to provide the community with recreational activities and events at
Maka`eo Events Pavilion; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to purchase fans for the Maka`eo Events Pavilion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
