Chairman, County Council ~
County of Hawaii
25 Aupuni Street

Dear Chairman Arakaki:
Re: Reconsideration of Resolution 99-97
We request that Resolution No. 49-97, which dealt with the
County's acceptance of land for the so-called Puna Emergency
Road, be brought up on a motion to reconsider at the next
meeting of the Hawaii County Council. The deed and resolution
have an erroneous description of the property which needs to be
corrected. The deed and resolution are too broad in the amount
of land covered and also may have been worded incorrectly as far
as its authorization for the person executing the deed on behalf
of the Ainaloa Community Association. I apologize for this
inconvenience.
Please contact this office if there are any questions.
Sincerely,
RICHARD D. WURDEMAN
Corporation Counsel
