No. 773 <br />Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred <br />Communication No. 773, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 773, transmitted by Mayor C. Kimo Alameda, dated February 27, 2026, <br />requests the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Alan Okamoto to the Liquor <br />Commission. <br />Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Micah Alameda, was present in the West Hawaii Civic Center in <br />Kona to introduce Mr. Okamoto, who was also present in person in Kona. <br />Committee Member Dennis "Fresh" Onishi clarified that there are two individuals residing on <br />Hawaii Island with the name Alan Okamoto and this reference is to Alan K. Okamoto.
