BY RESOLUTION NO. 468-26, DRAFT 2.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 468-26, Draft 2, adopted by the Council of the County of Hawai‘i on February 18, 2026, transferred an appropriation of $2,000 from Contingency Relief funds to
the Department of Liquor Control; and
WHEREAS, this appropriation was intended to be utilized to award a grant to East Hawai‘i Cultural Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to the Second Annual
Youth Art Series Festival; and
WHEREAS, a grant agreement with East Hawai‘i Cultural Council was cancelled due to weather and closure of the County parks on March 14, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control now wishes to return the unawarded funds back to the Council; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Director of Liquor Control and the Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
