A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION TO PURCHASE SECURITY CAMERA EQUIPMENT FOR THE
STANLEY COSTALES WAIAKEA `UKA GYM.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans and
coordinates organized recreation, athletics, and arts and crafts activities for all age groups at
recreation centers and aquatic facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's Stanley Costales Waiakea `Uka
Gym is requesting funds for security cameras, a recorder, accessory parts, and labor, which will
serve a public purpose by improving outdated facility equipment to enhance the experience of
patrons in the community; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to purchase security camera equipment for the Stanley Costales Waiakea
`Uka Gym.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
