Re: Comm. No. 894Bill No. 161
Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 161, reports as follows:
Bill No. 161, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication No. 894, dated
May 1, 2026, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget of the County of
Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Fund Balance From Previous Year - Reserved account
($443,775.57); and appropriates the same to the following Transfer to Public Access/Open Space
Preservation accounts: Fund ($274,878.65), Maintenance Fund ($40,457.41), and Transfer to
Disaster/Emergency Fund account ($128,439.51).
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 161, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
