Re: Resolution authorizing the acceptance of an "OJIZO-SAMA" statue
Enclosed for your review and approval is a resolution authorizing the acceptance of an
"OJIZO-SAMA" statue from the Hawaii Island Japanese Community Association. The
ornamental statue would enhance the appearance of Lili`uokalani Gardens and the many visitors
from the Orient will recognize this protector of the traveler. The generous donation is worth
approximately $1,500.00.
