The Puakalehua Early Learning Consortium (PKL) Celebrate'Ohana Festival is a free, family-centered community event designed to strengthen connections between young children,'ohana, and community resources that support early learning, health, and well-being. Hosted annually in West Hawai'i, the festival brings together early childhood organizations, community partners, service providers, and local businesses to create an engaging and welcoming environment where'ohana can access information, participate in hands-on activities, and build meaningful connections. Now in its fourth year, the PKL Celebrate'Ohana Festival will provide free educational and cultural activities for children,family entertainment, community resource booths, and opportunities for'ohana to learn about programs and services available in West Hawai'i. The event aims to increase awareness of early learning opportunities, promote family engagement, and foster a stronger network of support for keiki and'ohana. The festival is expected to serve approximately 300 children and family members from across West Hawai'i,with a focus on creating equitable access to resources, strengthening community relationships, and supporting positive outcomes for young children and their caregivers.
