Hawaii 96720 SUBJECT: ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT MOHALA COMMERCIAL VILLAGES TMK (3)7-5-3:06 ORDINANCE NO. 98-129 Dear Ms. Goldstein: In meeting the requirements of Condition O of the subject Ordinance, the following is being submitted on behalf of Hawaiian Development Corporation (HDC), as their Annual Progress Report on the status of development for the Mohala Commercial Village. We apologize for the late date of the report which was due on or before December 7, 1999. Since the approval of Ordnance No. 98-129, which rezoned the 17-acre portion to the CG-20 zoning district, HDC has obtained approval from the State Office of Historic Preservation to breach the Kuakini Wall in order to construct its project access road. This action was carried out in accordance with Condition B of the Ordinance which requires that rocks from the wall be removed by "other then mechanical means." The developer is currently securing agreements with various commercial users and will be submitting a subdivision application once there is a sufficient commitment from potential users. The project infrastructure extending from the existing access road, which connects to Palani Road, will be developed in conjunction with a project subdivision. Virginia Goldstein SUBJECT: ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT MOHALA COMMERCIAL VILLAGES TMK (3)7•-5-3:06 ORDINANCE NO. 98-129 June 13, 2000 Page 2 In regards to the Condition C, a Water Commitment payment was submitted to the Department of Water Supply on May 24, 2000, thereby meeting the requirements of this condition. All other Conditions of the Ordinance will be met in the context the project subdivision and development as required under Ordinance 98-129. I trust the above frilly addresses the status of development and compliance with the conditions of approval, however, should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact this office at 961-3333.
