1. Monetary donation of$5,000 to be utilized for Rescue Watercraft Operator(RWCO)training.
a. Recreational Thrill Craft Operator Certification Course via Windward Community College: State
of Hawai`i Thrill Craft Operator License: $135/person x 8 Personnel=$1,080
b. Ocean Safety Education Certification Course via Windward Community College: State of
Hawaii: $135/person x 8 Personnel=•$1,080
c. Coastguard Safe Boating and Seamanship Course via USCG:USLA standard requirement for
PRWC Agency Policy: —$70/person x 8 Personnel=$560
d. The remaining balance will be used to cover other unforeseen costs associated with the RWCO
Training such as training materials(printing/binders),PPEs, increases in course costs and
possible subsidized travel for expert instructor guests.
