To provide this service, it will be necessary to: Place 11,950' of 25 -24 cable, 1 terminal, 2 ground wells, 3700' protection 7. trand , purchase interest in 33 HELCo poles and 3 anchor and place 2 new poles .nnd 3 anchors. The calculation for the customers share is based on General Regulation No. 7 7er4ce connections and facilities on customer premises) and General Regulation No. 8 (line extension) in P.U.C. Tariff No. 1, Section 2. Based on section 2.C.(1), the actual charges to extend tetephcnc facilities will be borne by the customer. The customer will be required to pay in advance of the = ,stiflIated cost of line extension. The estimated cost of the line extension is $$79.427.00. The customer, County of Hawaii, will also be responsible for obtaining all neon <; -::ry easements in favor of GTE Hawaiian Tel for the line extension. GTE Hawaiian Tel will need an easement following the existing HELCo poleline from P1T -P1 LLE -P89X. • Upon completion of the job by HTCo, any difference between the amount advanc and actual charges for the Line Extension will be assessed or refunded to the customer. I have received no responc: . - agrees on the deteriorating phone condition at the West Hawaii Sanitary Landfill, I recently lost access to our modern line and our corporate email is un v ~r ,,le to me. Our fax intermittently experiences problems and correspondence betw -? :.e scalehouse and the County accounting offices have been disrupted. We " only allowed six lines, so new lines cannot be added to our current system. CC: - Hawaiian Tel will not work on phone lines under the circumstances because they > i3;.en neglected for over six years. We anticipate losing all communication, scalehouse, maintenance shop and offices prior to year's end.
