Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 180, reports as follows:
Bill No. 180, transmitted by Planning Director Jeffrey W. Darrow via Communication No. 994,
dated July 16, 2026, amends Ordinance No. 26-44, the Operating Budget of the County of Hawaii
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants — Certified Local Government account
($20,192) and appropriates the same to the Certified Local Government Program account. Funds
will be used to cover travel stipends for two staff members from the Planning Department and two
Cultural Resource Commissioners.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 180, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
