Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 627-26, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 627-26, transmitted by Planning Director Jeffrey W. Darrow via Communication
No. 994, dated July 16, 2026, authorizes the Mayor into an intergovermental agreement with the
State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, to receive a grant for four attendees to
participate in the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions Forum 2026.
This resolution allows for the receipt of $20,192 in federally -derived funds to cover travel stipends
for two staff members from the Planning Department and two Cultural Resource Commissioners.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 627-26, and
recommends its adoption.
