register the rental activity without being penalized.

Appropriates revenues in the State Grants — Kona Low Small Business Recovery
Grant account ($500,000) and appropriates the same to the Kona Low Small
Business Recovery Grant Program account. Funds will be used to support one-time
relief to eligible Hawaii Island small businesses that sustained material and
economic or physical damage from the Kona Low Storm.

Changes certain responsibilities for proposed vacation rental laws under Ordinance
No. 25-50 from the finance director to the planning director; exempts prospective
vacation rentals that have submitted a valid use permit or special permit application
from Ordinance No. 25-50; and requires any funds collected under Ordinance No.
25-50 to be deposited into the short-term vacation rental enforcement fund.

regarding the above -entitled matter filed by Glenn T. Honda, George C. Alejandro,
and James M. Monma, Esquires, on behalf of their client Palaga Pop.
The Council anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding the above matter, pursuant to
Section 92-5(a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with Council's attorney on questions and issues
pertaining to the Council's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to
Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 92-4, and Rule Nos. 2 and 10 of the Rules of Procedure of the County
Council is necessary to hold an executive meeting.
