RE: Resolution No. 311-00, Draft 2
Attached is Resolution No. 311 -00, Draft 2, which was the result of amendments made at the
Finance Committee meeting of August 22, 2000. The amendments included:
1. Changing the resolved clause to read "...that, in accordance with Article XIII,
Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, [the Hawaii Police Department is
authorized to] it accepts the donation of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), from
Hawaii Police Athletic Federation of Honolulu, Hawaii for the Hawaii Police
Department.
2. Adding a resolved clause to read "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of
appreciation be sent to Hawaii Police Athletic Federation of P.O. Box 22623,
Honolulu Hawaii 96823, acknowledging this generous donation."
