For too many members of our community, the high cost of housing has forced individuals and
families into shelters, vehicles, overcrowded living situations, or other unsafe conditions.
Through my work in the community, I have seen firsthand how the lack of stable, affordable
housing impacts eve
stability, and overall well-being. Safe housing is often the foundation that makes healing,
stability, and self-sufficiency possible.
Affordable housing does more than support individuals and families. It strengthens our entire
island community. When people have a safe and stable place to call home, they are better able
positively to our local economy and community life.
our shared values of caring for one another. Continuing this investment helps create pathways
