Aloha council members,
As you’ve heard from others including the reliable, science-based publication, Environment Hawai`i, the plan to
development Waikoloa Green as proposed would add to the already huge stresses on water availability while increasing
fire danger. Evacuation of residents is an enormous concern. While putting warm and fuzzy requirements may seem
worthy, potentially unrealistic requirements would add even more danger to people in the area.
For all of the logical and looming reasons and dangers, I, as a taxpayer, am unwilling to suffer the human and financial
consequences of another development plan gone awry. How about you?
Please say “no” to this plan as written-- and potentially forever.
Mahalo and sincerely,
Janice Palma-Glennie
