RESOLUTION NO. 700 26
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTING
ATTORNEY WITH EXPENSES RELATING TO THE 2026 HAWAI`I SEXUAL
ASSAULT RESPONSE AND TRAINING CONFERENCE.
WHEREAS,the 2026 Hawai`i Sexual Assault Response and Training Conference will
be hosted at the Arc of Hilo from October 22 to 23,2026, in partnership with the Office of the
Prosecuting Attorney and other governmental and community organizations, bringing together
professionals to advance victim-centered responses and address critical issues, including digital
evidence and technology-facilitated abuse, corroborative evidence, multidisciplinary
investigations, and barriers experienced by survivors; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney is requesting funds to purchase
lunch and light refreshments for attendees of the 2026 Hawai`i Sexual Assault Response and
Training Conference; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief Funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Office of the
Prosecuting Attorney to assist with expenses relating to the 2026 Hawai`i Sexual Assault
Response and Training Conference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Prosecuting Attorney and Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance
is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
