Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 671-26,reports as follows:
Resolution No. 671-26,transmitted by Public Works Director Wesley Segawa via Communication
No. 1065, dated August 27, 2026, authorizes the payment of funds of later fiscal years to enter into
a multiy-year lease agreement for three grapple trucks to be used by the Department of Public
Works.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate
total annual cost of$225,000, to be used for emergency response for downed trees, clearing drains,
removing dead animals, and regular road maintenance work.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 671-26, and
recommends its adoption.
