Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 675-26, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 675-26, transmitted by Prosecuting Attorney Kelden B.A. Waltjen via
Communication No. 1069, dated August 27, 2026, authorizes the payment of funds of later fiscal
years to enter into a multi-year subscription agreement for proprietary legal research and investigative
software to be used by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year agreement with an approximate
monthly cost of$4,835, for continued use of the Westlaw for trial preparation and online legal
research service.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 675-26, and
recommends its adoption.
