Aloha,
This Wednesday, October 21, the Hawaiʻi County Council will take up Bills 186 and 187 (Waikōloa Green). Our
message is simple. Before new development, Waikōloa needs:
A second road, funded and planned. The County needs to spend the $2.5 million already allocated to the
design and planning of the road.
A cumulative impact study for the region
A real emergency evacuation study
Until those are in place, we are asking the Council to defer these bills.
