Aloha another bill 147 meeting and its still a piece of junk. Does not offer any clarity for Hosted rentals on ag
land that have been legally operating in my case for over 10 years. That’s 10 years of taxes paid and nothing
but satisfied customers. It’s a business located on a private road, private water company in a subdivision
where there is no ag. The land is desert barley suitable for a goat. I have reservations well into 2027 and this
bill only creates more uncertainty and stress and threatens my retirement and livelihood. How the council can
see this bill as good enough for approval after months and months of mostly opposing testimony and
continuing unanswered questions is not responsible in my view. Start over. Create good legislation and
support local businesses instead of trying to regulate them out of business.
