Subject:Opposing Bills 186 and 187
Dear County Council representa?ves,
I am wri?ng to express opposi?on to Bills 186 and 187. Please oppose these bills.
Our communityʻs future and quality of life are at stake. This massive proposed development threatens access to fresh
water and threatens the Waimea Aquifer. The huge projected water draw from Waikoloa Green is unacceptable. In
addi?on, no environment assessment has been completed and no effort has been made to garner input from the
community. A New Jersey developer and Oahu-based a?orney have no business determining the future quality of life on
Hawaiʻi Island.
Dear Council Representa?ves: Vote no to this massive development and, in the process, vote yes to quality of life on the
Big island. Big Island kānaka and ʻāina before off-island profit.
