Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 203, reports as follows:
Bill No. 203, transmitted by Executive on Aging Ka`u`ionalani Fukuda via Communication No.
1121, dated September 23, 2026, amends Ordinance No. 26-44, as amended, the Operating Budget
of the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027.
This bill appropriates revenues in the Office of Aging Private Contributions account ($10,000) and
appropriates the same to the US Aging Disaster Relief Fund — Private account. Funds will be used
to support older adults in need of recovery assistance.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 203, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
