Re: Opposed to Bill 147
Aloha, Council Chair, Vice Chair and Council Members:
I am submitting testimony opposed to Bill 147 in its current state and at this time.
I agree with the comments of Councilperson Kierkiewicz given at the last Council meeting.
She urged the Council to wait until the TVR registration process has run its course before
passing this bill. She reminded the Council that this was the original intent of the
registration process.
There is no rush to pass this bill at this moment. New Council members will want to weigh-
in on this important issue. Please allow the registration process to conclude so both the
Council and the public will know what we are dealing with. From what I understand the
registration process is going well. Please table this bill until after the first of the year when
the results of the TVR registration will be available and a more .
