Re: Resolution Authorizing the Temporary Transfer of Funds
For Undertaking Public Improvements
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the temporary transfer of funds which will enable the
County to start work on the first and second phases of the public improvement project,
Microwave Relocation and System Renovation, authorized in Ordinance 00-50.
Major Morton Carter of the Hawai'i Police Department has advised us that they are ready to
pursue the first and second phases of this public improvement project. The timing of the sale of
the bonds authorized to fully fund this project will be dependent on the progress of the first two
phases, and on when the funding for the third phase is required.
