Dear Councilman Chung,
We would like to express our support for Bill No. 325 which will
appropriate monies to establish a community police substation in the
Waiakea Uka Gym located in the upper Waiakea Uka Community.
We live in the Kupulau Meadows Subdivision which is located within a mile
of Waiakea Uka Gym. We believe that this project will help to deter crime
by maintaining a Police presence in our community and at the Waiakea Uka
Gym complex. By putting the police officers within the community, we can
create a partnership in which the police and community share the
responsibility for solving problems that directly and/or indirectly threaten
community safety and livability.
We ask that you support Bill No. 325 and help us to make our community a
safe place for our families to live and grow.
