Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating $49,000 from the Housing and
Community Development Corporation of Hawaii to the Hawai'i County Fire
Department to improve the water storage system at Miloli'i by installing two
new electrically-operated well pumps, a diesel generator, fuel storage, wiring,
piping, and other related items. The water system at Miloli'i supplies non-
potable water to the homes in the village. These improvements are necessary to
enable the volunteer fire unit at Miloli'i to utilize the water system.
