Rock, Data Systems Director, and Will Freeman, Data Systems Department's GIS analyst, will make a brief presentation regarding the Geoeraphic Information S sty ems Plan, which establishes the overall need for GIS in County government operations, the role Data Systems Department will play in the County's overall GIS program, short-teen objectives, and long range goals. They will also inform the Committee of the GIS work completed in recent months and the project work scheduled through the end of Year 2000. Rock, Director, Department of Data Systems, dated July 24, 2000, requesting to make a presentation on their recently completed Geographic Information Svstems Plan at the Planning Committee's August 22, 2000 meeting.
