HONS From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated April 6, 2000, submitting for confirmation the following appointment to the Water Commission: Mrs. Pamela H. Hons of Kamuela (Council District 9), a 44-year resident of Hawaii, who is retired. She was self-employed doing business as Decorating and Such by Pam, Inc. (1981-1998). She is currently a member of the Liquor Commission, a position which she will resign contingent upon her confirmation to the Water Commission. She has no party affiliation. If confirmed, Ms. Ilons will replace Edmund W. Hohu of Hilo (Council District 1), whose term expired on December 31, 1999, and will serve a teen Co end on December 31, 2004.
