Notice is hereby given that the Council's Committee on Planning will hold a workshop on
Bi11276, Draft 2 (Comm. 227.01) presently pending in the Planning Committee; Bill 276,
Draft 3 and Bill 276, Draft 3 (Ramseyer) and an accompanying table which lists the
corresponding changes between Bi11276, Drafts 2 and 3, as reflected in the ramseyered
working draft (Comm. 493). (Note: Workshops regarding the above were held on:
November 30, 1999 & January 13, 2000.)
Bill 276, Draft 3, repeals the existing Chapter 23 of the I~Iawaii County Code relating to
Subdivisions and adds a new Chapter 23 relating to Subdivisions: Including, but not
limited to Definitions; General Administration; Exceptions; Appeals; Variances;
Prohibitions, Penalties, Enforcement; Application and Approval Procedure; Preliminary
Subdivision Approval; Construction Plans; Final Subdivision Approval; Recordation,
Changes, and Approvals After Final Subdivision Approval; Design and [mprovement
Standards; Street Classifications; Dedication Standards; Intersections; Private Streets;
Utilities; Water, Wastewater; Drainage; Public Access.
