GARRET WEBB From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated December 30, 1999, submitting for confirmation the following reappointment to the Kailua Village Design Commission: Mr. Garret Webb of Kona (Council District 8), a 21-year resident of Hawaii who, since 1987, has been aself-employed landscaper, dba Kalaoa Gardens. 1 f confirmed, Mr. Webb will serve a term to end on December 31, 2002. PC-23 Page 2 January 21, 2000 Comm. 611: APPOINTMENT TO THE KAILUA VILLAGE DESIGN COMMISSION - MR. JAMES D. DUMAGUIN From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated December 29, 1999, submitting for confirmation the following appointment to the Kailua Village Design Commission: Mr. James D. Dumaguin of Kona (Council District 7), a lifetime resident of Hawaii who, since 1968, has been an educator/administrator with the State of Hawaii, Department of Education. He is a member of the Democratic Party. If confirmed, Mr. Dumaguin will replace Mr. Earl Fujikawa of Kona (Council District 8) who resigned effective December 31, 1999, and will serve the balance of the unexpired term which will end on December 31, 2000. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEM ON THE AGENDA REFERRAL Comm. 618: PLANNING COMMISSION'S REQUEST THAT THE COUNCIL REVIEW AND GIVE DIRECTION REGARDING CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY REGIME (CPR) AND FAIR SHARE FEES From Planning Commission Chair Leonard S. Tanaka, dated December 30, 1999, stating that the Planning Commission at its December 3, 1999 meeting, voted to request that the Council expedite its review on the above which they have wrestled with on matters before the Planning Commission. States it would help them tremendously in obtaining the Council's direction. GOVERNMENT ACCESS TELEVISION: Channel 9 (Hilo) and Channel 12 (Kona) The Public Works & Parks Committee and Finance Committee meetings can be seen on Saturday, January 22 at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 25 at 8:30 p.m. The Planning Committee meeting can be seen on Monday, January 24 at 1:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 27, at 8:30 p.m. All the above meetings will be aired on Sunday, January 30 at 9 a.m.
