From Mayor Stephen K. Yamashiro, dated December 1, 1999, submitting
for confirmation the following appointment to the Board of Appeals:
Mr. Evarts C. Fox of Kamuela (Council District 9), a 30-year
resident of Hawaii who, since 1995, has been retired. Prior to that
he was the Museum Director with the Hawaii Maritime Center in
Honolulu. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
If confirmed, Mr. Fox will replace Ms. Janet H. Fujioka of Hilo,
whose term will expire on December 31, 1999, and will serve a
term to end on December 31, 2004.
